Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the App Trust Proxy website collects and how privacy-friendly analytics are used.

Website analytics
App Trust Proxy uses Plausible Analytics through analytics.apptrustproxy.com to understand aggregate website usage and improve the public website and documentation.
The analytics script does not use cookies, browser local storage, or persistent cross-site identifiers. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or selling visitor data.
What is measured
Plausible records aggregate page views, referral sources, browser, operating system, device type, and approximate location derived from the request IP address. The raw IP address is not stored by Plausible.
This site also enables Plausible outbound link tracking. When someone clicks a link that leaves apptrustproxy.com, Plausible may record the external URL and the page where the click happened as an aggregate event.
How this information is used
Analytics are used to see which pages are useful, where documentation needs improvement, and which outbound project links are used. App Trust Proxy does not use this data to identify individual visitors.
Third party links
The website links to external services such as GitHub. External websites have their own privacy practices, and this policy applies only to apptrustproxy.com.
